Electronic Kitchen Scale

Important Advice

1.      Please read the instruction carefully before using the scale.

2.      Ensure that there is nothing on the weighing plate when the scale is not being used.

3.      Dont allow water (or any liquid) to come into the scale.

4.      When using the scale always place it on a solid, smooth and horizontal surface.

5.      For best accuracy, place the scale at a safe distance of at least 1.5 meters from the  operating microwave oven or it will switch off.

Controls

 ON---Press this button to switch on when the scale is turned off.

 OFF---Press this button for 3 seconds to switch off when 0is visible in display.

 TARE---Press this button to set back the display to 0.

 MODE---Press this button to change the units displayed from grams (g) to ounces (oz) or ounces (oz) to grams (g).

Battery

1.      The scale work on 1pc Lithium battery (CR2032)

2.      Before using, remove the battery compartment cover on the underside of the scale, place one new battery with positive (+) and negative (-) terminals properly aligned with the corresponding terminals in the battery compartment.

3.      Replace battery as soon as LO is displayed and ensure that it is disposed of at an officially assign place, for it may pollute the environment.

Operation

1.      Press button ON to switch on and 0g or 0oz is displayed.

2.      Place the ingredient(s) to be weighed directly on the weighing plate, you can read the weight right away.

3.      Press button OFF for three seconds to switch off when 0 is in the display. Automatically power off when the scales have not been used for 60 seconds.

4.      Graduation: d=1g / 0.05oz

5.      Overloading display: EEEE becomes visible in the display if the weighing plate has been overburdened.

Cleaning and Storage

1.    Clean the scale with a soft slightly damp cloth and if necessary, some detergent. Never use hot water or other harsh chemicals to clean the scale.

2.    Ensure that there is nothing on the weighing plate when the scale is not being used.

3.    The scale should not be stored standing on its side.

4.    Never attempt to open the scale and tamper with its mechanism or circuitry.

5.    Remove the battery if the scale is not going to be used for a long time.
